“The amazonian tribes believe that we as living humans are constantly surrounded by a dense cloud that prevents us from seeing clearly. This cloud is called “panema” by the Katukina people. ‘Panema’ could be translated with an expression such as ‘negative energy’, bad luck’, depression’ or ‘laziness’. By receiving Kambo treatments on a regular basis we have the chance to get rid of this greyish cloud of negative energy, to live a healthy life and to fulfil our physical potentialities.” – Master Kambo Practitioner, Giovanni Lattanzi
Frequently Asked Questions:
How many spots are available on this retreat?
This is an intimate retreat. We have a maximum of 10 spots available.
Will you pair me up with a roommate if I choose to travel alone?
We'd be happy to introduce you to someone but we will not put you in the same bed.
Can you accommodate my special diet?
We will do our best to accommodate your dietary preferences. Please be sure to inform us of allergies. You will be served exquisitely prepared, health conscious vegetarian meals.
How do I get there?
Please book your flight to KOA (Kona airport). We recommend flying in on the 3rd and staying the night in Kona. We provide free ground transport from Kona town on the 4th. Please send us your travel details as soon as you have them and don't forget to update us if the airline changes your arrival or departure time. Are there bugs?
Yes, we will be in the tropics and there will almost certainly be insects. You'll likely see geckos, frogs, butterflies and other wildlife too. This is part of life here in Hawaii. We even have our showers outdoors (in privacy, of course)!
Max Igan is a researcher, truth seeker, radio host, film-maker and one of the leaders of the global awakening movement. Max spent most of his life on the outskirts of "normal" society as a traveling musician, researching into the inner workings of how the world really works, and the facts of world history most people don't know about. He started actively speaking out after the 9/11 terror attack in New York city in 2001. Since then, Max has travelled the world to attend speaking events, went to see the people of Gaza personally, and lived in the Amazon jungle working with jungle medicines. Max is a facilitator and humble student of jungle medicines. You can learn more about Max and his work at thecrowhouse.com.
